Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the mobile game Sweet Double ("the game", "we", "us") collects, why, and what choices you have. The game is published by Nir Rivlin, an individual business registered in Israel. Contact: support@sweetdoublegame.com.
In short: you can play without creating an account or giving us your name or email. We keep your game progress on a server so it isn't lost, we collect gameplay analytics only if you agree, and we never sell your information.
1. Information we collect
Game account and progress
When you first open the game, it creates an anonymous player ID for you through Unity Authentication. We store the following with that ID on Unity Cloud Save, so your progress is kept and can be restored:
- Coins, boosters and purchases you've unlocked (for example, "remove ads").
- Game progress: best scores, highest card values, completed daily challenges, league tier and trophies.
- Your profile: the display name you choose, and the avatar and frame you pick. Please don't use your real name or personal information as your display name.
Game Center and Google Play Games (optional)
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, the game may link your player ID to that account so your progress follows you to a new phone. We receive a player identifier and a verification signature from Apple or Google. We do not receive your email address, password or contacts. You can play without signing in.
Gameplay analytics (only with your permission)
On first launch the game asks whether we may collect anonymous gameplay data. If you agree, the game sends usage events to Unity Analytics, such as which levels you start, finish or fail, scores, purchases made with in-game coins, and rewarded ads watched. Unity also collects technical information like device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate country. If you say no, no analytics events are sent. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → DATA.
Game configuration
The game downloads its settings, sales and new stages from Unity Remote Config. To do this it sends your player ID and basic technical information (app version, platform).
Advertising
The game shows rewarded ads that you choose to watch (for example, to double a reward) and may show other ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address and information about your device and your interaction with ads, to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example, in the European Economic Area and the UK), you will be asked for consent before ads are personalized. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your phone's settings. Buying "Remove Ads" turns off ads that you did not choose to watch.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your card or payment details. We receive a confirmation of the purchase so we can deliver what you bought.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to answer you.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or your name or email (unless you email us).
2. Why we use it
- To run the game and keep your progress, coins and purchases (necessary to provide the game you asked for).
- To improve the game, for example to find levels that are too hard (based on your consent, for analytics).
- To show ads that keep the game free (based on consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interest in funding the game).
- To prevent cheating and fraud, and to comply with the law.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run parts of the game for us, under their own privacy terms:
- Unity Technologies (Authentication, Cloud Save, Remote Config, Analytics) – Unity's privacy policy
- Google (AdMob, Google Play, Google Play Games) – Google's privacy policy
- Apple (App Store, Game Center) – Apple's privacy policy
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for any other purpose unless the law requires it. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, with the safeguards required by law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your game data while you play. If your player account has been inactive for 24 months, or when you ask us to delete it, we delete it. Analytics data is kept by Unity according to its retention settings and then deleted. Support emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request.
5. Your choices and rights
- Analytics: turn it on or off in Settings → DATA.
- Ads: limit or reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings, or buy Remove Ads.
- Access, correction or deletion: email us, or follow the steps on our Delete your data page.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, the UK, Israel or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We will answer requests within 30 days.
6. Children
Sweet Double is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with our service providers, who protect it with industry-standard measures. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the game.
